The Mortal Word is out in two days – or four days, if you’re in the UK. I would be covering this post with exclamation marks, but I’m trying to be self-controlled and mature and adult and all that sort of thing.
So while we’re waiting, what else is going on? Well, there’s Doctor Who, which I was watching earlier this evening, and I love Jodie Whittaker and the new series, but that’s a different kettle of fish (or witches, if you’ve just seen the latest episode).
There’s also the UK Amazon Kindle offer on The Lost Plot for £1.19, which is still running – and The Invisible Library at 99p. Just saying.
And from me . . . I just want to say thank you to you all who’ve been reading my books. I hope you enjoy this latest one.

It seems like once again a member of the local book-store used L-space to snatch the book for me a week ago. I’m very careful not to read it in one go though! But what I’ve read so far was very entertaining as always! Let’s see how many of the theories my friend and I came up with will end up true.

I got my copy yesterday and I love it so far. Also, I was thrilled to find out that you’re working on the next one! For some reason I thought number 5 would be the end of the series, I’m so glad I was wrong.

I bought this at midnight on Wednesday and was unable to put it down so read it from start to finish overnight! I’m a boring 30 something professional and didn’t think I was capable of such childlike delight anymore. Thank you so much for that! I absolutely loved the book, I think it’s the best yet, and I was so happy with how things turned out. The way you have developed the longer term plot is really clever and I’m already looking forwards to book 6!

Thank you! I’m really delighted that you enjoyed it so much. Book 6 is currently in the editing stages, and I hope that you’ll like it too… in a year’s time.

How many books will there be in the series?
