For the last few weeks – well, the last couple of months – I’ve had my head down and been working, both at the day job and at the writing. (And at sewing! I was at the Harrogate Spring Quilt Show on Saturday, and spent far too much on fabric . . .)

I’m currently waiting for the edits on book six (any day now) and working on the first draft of book seven. Yes, I do know what the title of book six is, and I’ve seen both the planned UK and US covers, and they’re gorgeous. I’ll share them as soon as I can.

And in the meantime, if anyone out there is still considering their Hugo nominations, The Mortal Word is eligible for Best Novel, and the whole Invisible Library series is now eligible for Best Series. So . . . just mentioning it.

(And yes, I am going to be at Dublin 2019 in August.)

Just wanted to let you know that I discovered your book “The mortal word”in my local bookshop in the Netherlands. I did read it on our vacation in Thailand. And I really enjoyed the story. Now going on the hunt to find the previous four. (And waiting for the 6th one,)

I am so pleased to hear about book six and seven 🙂 I am about to start reading “The Burning Page” and am really enjoying your series so far. Great to know book six shouldn’t be too long 🙂 Good luck with the award!

Absolutely love the series so far! It took me an entire week to get through “The Mortal Word,” not because I didn’t enjoy it, but because I was pacing myself knowing that Book #6 isn’t out yet. Can’t wait for the next one in the series!

Wow, just finished “The Mortal Word” and enjoyed it very much! I thought to myself that if you were tired of the series that would be a good stopping place. Was so glad to see that there’s at least two more to come! Thank you so much for creating this delightful world and sharing it.

  5. I just finished book 5 The Mortal Word and loved it! Any word on a date for book 6 to be released into the world? 🙂

Having read a great deal of fantasy fiction new and old, I stumbled across The Invisible Library on Amazon on a purge to find a new universe. Really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to further adventures with Irene.

Thank you very much! I hope you enjoy the rest of the series. (And your quilts look beautiful – I think you’re much more proficient than I am.)

Ran out of patience in reading the IL series from my local US library as an ebook. Bought the last two books and preordered the 6th book from amazon.uk. Wow, great series very fun and interesting. I hope you’ll keep them coming or start a new series. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us!
