On Thursday 15th October, at 7pm, I’m going to be at Waterstones in Leeds, to discuss my just-released (I hope) new book, A Scholar’s Guide to Demonology and Other Dark Arts. Be there or be a rectangular object!

Other than that, the weather is, thank goodness, turning a bit cooler. Now we just need some rain. Lots and lots of rain. I’m working on book 2 of the Grayne’s trilogy in the evenings, and wishing that the day had more hours in it.

Take care and stay safe.

I read a galley copy of ‘A Scholar’s Guide…’ and it’s a great book, really enjoyed it. I think it will be a big success. Really captured the spirit of the Invisible Library books and those did well so I’m sure this will. I can imagine a few Graynes girls ending up in the Library’s employment. I enjoyed imagining Irene trying to steal a grimoire from the basement. I’m already looking forwards to the next one, loads of potential and backstories for elaborating on.
